Software is built by people, not just machines. As we gear up for Contributor Day (July 2nd, 2026), at the RUET campus, we are reminded that our community thrives on the individual journeys of the developers, designers, students, and entrepreneurs who make it whole.
Every major contribution to the open web starts with a simple decision to show up and try. Contributor Day is designed specifically to turn your initial curiosity into direct, meaningful action. It doesn’t matter if you have never participated in an open-source event before—this is a collaborative, welcoming environment where you can learn alongside peers and tech leads.
Every Line of Code Has a Face
Behind the plugins, themes, and translations are local innovators pushing regional tech growth forward. Read the stories of the people who make WordCamp Rajshahi 2026 possible.
I started freelancing in 2020 and found my welcoming community volunteering at WordCamp NEO 2021. Today, I proudly give back to WordPress as a Bengali Translation Editor, Photo contributor, and WordCamp Rajshahi 2026 volunteer.
Starting with WordPress in 2010, I grew into a CTO and educator. My contributor journey truly began at WordCamp Sylhet 2024. Earning my Core badge in 6.5.4, I now give back across Core, Translation, Photos, and beyond.
Starting my WP journey in 2014, I’m now Lead Tech Support at Themeum. I’ve contributed to Core, translated 10k+ strings, and shared 200+ photos. I can’t wait to guide new contributors as a Table Lead at WordCamp Rajshahi 2026!
My WordPress journey began in a hospital bed battling Leukemia in 2012. Despite severe mobility limits from AVN in 2015, coding gave me purpose. Today, I’ve built 10+ plugins and am thrilled to join WordCamp Rajshahi!
I began contributing in 2023 out of curiosity and found my passion in the Test Team. From leading WordCamp Contributor tables to serving as Co-Test Lead for WordPress 7.1, I love helping newcomers take their first step!
My WP journey started in 2018. Since 2022, I’ve earned 26 contribution badges and was named a Noteworthy Contributor for WP 7.0. I recently gave back by leading WordPress Campus Connect at Pundra University 2026!
As a Project Manager, I thought contributing was just for developers. Since Sept 2025, I became a Bengali Translation Editor, released a free plugin, earned 8 badges, and contributed to WP 6.9 & 7.0. There is room for everyone!
I am a marketer who relies on WordPress primarily as a powerful tool for SEO and running ads. I focus on optimizing content and driving campaigns, and I am excited to connect with the community at WordCamp Rajshahi!
